Installation / Assembley

Key Points:

  • Our installation services are carried about by professionals, with the relevant training and insurances
  • Our installation service does not include the electrical connection of our products. Our installers are not authorised to deal with anything electrical, and this is the responsibility of the customer or their appointed individual. This must be done safely, and it is the customer's responsibility to ensure this is done safely
  • Our installation service does not include waste / rubbish disposal
  • Our installation quotes are based on the details and requirements provided by the customer, if these prove to be different upon arrival on site, a re-quote may be necessary
  • You must always check whether your product has been treated for weather protection. If your product requires treating for weather protection, this must happen asap after installation. Problems or damage caused by improper care or weather protection is not covered under warranty

Service Terms & Disclaimer

1. Introduction

1.1 These terms and conditions govern the installation and assembly services provided by us for saunas, reformer Pilates machines, cold plunges, wellness equipment, and any related products purchased through our business.
1.2 By placing an order that includes installation or assembly, you agree to these terms and conditions.
1.3 Nothing in this document affects your statutory rights as a consumer, including rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

2. Interpretation

2.1 Throughout these terms:
a) “We”, “us”, and “our” refer to our business as the service provider;
b) “You” refers to the customer receiving installation services;
c) “Variations” mean any additions, omissions, or substitutions to the agreed scope of the work, equipment, fixings, or installation method.

3. Quotations

3.1 All quotations are based on the information provided by you. Changes to requirements before work begins may result in a revised quotation.
3.2 Any variations required after installation has started will be priced separately and added to the final invoice.
3.3 You will be liable for any additional expenses incurred due to incomplete, inaccurate, or missing information, structural issues, or unforeseen conditions at the installation site.

4. Unforeseen Costs & Site Readiness

4.1 You are liable for additional costs arising from unexpected events or conditions outside our control, including unsuitable site access, electrical issues, plumbing issues, or structural defects.
4.2 It is your responsibility to ensure:
(a) All required groundworks or structural preparations (e.g., electrical supply, drainage, flooring levelness, ventilation clearance) are completed before installation.
(b) The area is measured accurately and provides sufficient safe space for assembly, manoeuvring equipment, and operation after installation.
(c) Access routes are clear, safe, and wide enough for equipment to be transported to the installation site.
4.3 If our installation team cannot carry out the work due to site conditions, lack of access, incomplete preparations, incorrect measurements, or safety concerns, we reserve the right to charge for travel, lost time, or a re-attendance fee.

5. Liability

5.1 We accept liability only for work directly carried out by us. We are not liable for defects in existing structures, electrics, plumbing, or equipment not supplied by us.
5.2 We are not responsible for damage or injury caused by the actions of you, household members, or guests before, during, or after installation.
5.3 Any advice we provide is given as guidance only and followed at your own risk.
5.4 You acknowledge that installation involves reasonable, standard fixing methods appropriate for saunas, reformers, cold plunges, and wellness equipment. We are not liable for damage to flooring, walls, gardens, or structural surfaces where anchoring or placement is required.
5.5 Sauna Installations:

  • You are responsible for ensuring your floor can support the weight of the sauna.

  • Flooring must be level, dry, and structurally sound.

  • We cannot be held liable for issues caused by ventilation, moisture, electrical supply, or insufficient structural support.

  • Reformer Pilates Installations:

  • Floors must be flat, stable, and able to support the dynamic loads of a reformer machine.

  • We are not liable for floor damage or equipment movement caused by unsuitable surfaces or improper use.

  • 5.7 Cold Plunge Installations:

  • The site must have adequate drainage, waterproof flooring, and appropriate electrical supply if a chiller is installed.

  • We are not responsible for leaks, water damage, or condensation issues arising from site conditions, flooring, or plumbing.
    5.8 If any installation issue arises within 14 days, we will arrange a return visit where required. Beyond 14 days, call-out charges will apply.

6. Health & Safety

6.1 We will take reasonable steps to ensure a safe working environment. You must do the same.
6.2 We may refuse to work in unsafe, unsanitary, or illegal conditions, or where the installation would breach building or electrical regulations.
6.3 Any unsafe condition noticed by you must be reported to us immediately.
6.4 If asbestos or other hazardous materials are discovered, we will pause work until removal is completed by a licensed contractor at your cost.

7. Duty of Care

7.1 We will exercise reasonable care regarding materials, equipment, your property, and workmanship while conducting installations.

8. Compliance With Regulations

8.1 We will not carry out work that breaches Building Regulations, electrical standards, manufacturer guidelines, or safety standards.
8.2 You are responsible for ensuring that any necessary permissions (e.g., landlord approval, building control approval) are obtained before installation.

10. Insurance

10.1 Anyone working on behalf of House of Senti carries the relevant Public Liability and Product Liability insurance appropriate for professional installation services.

11. Complaints

11.1 Any complaint regarding installation or service must be submitted to us in writing.
11.2 By placing an order, you confirm your agreement to all terms set out in this document.
